welcome – authentication succeeded (or was not needed), you are allowed to use the service.

optional arguments:

• expire - seconds authentication is valid. Client must renew her authentication before old one expires by sending a new Iam message.
• youare - altered username
• youare_dn - altered displayname

Server may change user's name and/or displayname. For instance if user has reported name:foo in Iam message, server may change it to youare:foo@domain.com in welcome answer. Client must then remember and use this new name from now on.
