rejected

S → C: {type: 'rejected'}

rejected – must log in to communicate

You must authorize yourself before you are allowed to communicate with RTCgate server. Until then you are only allowed to send Iam and Iauth messages – everything else will result in rejected.

reason

The rejected command can also have a reason parameter, altering its meaning:

S → C: {type: 'rejected', reason:…}

  • reason - string containing reason of rejection:
    • "409: conflict" - a new client has registered using same client ID as you, RTCgate server will now cut communications with you (only on logical level - websocket channel will remain open but all received commands except Iam will be ignored). You must generate a new client ID and send a new Iam command to reconnect.

Right now only reason 409 is defined, no other reasons are sent by RTCgate server.
