mixer_io_control - request what audio streams voice bridge should transmit to this client

The IXNX voice bridge can send any mix of audio from all or none of group members connected to it. If a client detect's it no longer receives media from another client (broken connection) it can request voice bridge send that client's audio to it instead (audio fallback).

arguments:

• delta_info - partial or full list:
  • "yes" - partial list only affecting listed media peers, other peers are unchanged
  • "no" - full list affecting all media peers, unlisted peers become silent
• media_peers - list audio sources, for each source:
  • name - address audio is coming from
  • audio - audio fallback:
    • "yes" - request audio from voice bridge (voice fallback)
    • "no" - stop audio from voice bridge (normal operation)

C → S {type:"mixer_io_control", from:…, hangup:…}

mixer_io_control - ask voice bridge to hang up on a client

The IXNX voice bridge receives audio from all clients in a group call. This message requests voice bridge to terminate one of those connections. For instance if one group member does not answer and call ends up in user's voicemail then voice bridge must be asked to hang up that call.

arguments:

• from - address of client requesting the hangup
• hangup - address of client voice bridge should hang up on
