setList()

wrtc.setList() sends a list for central storage on the IXNX server. Lists are different types of data that a client might want to store at a secure, central location so it survives power off. The stored data is supposed to be as little as possible, a few KB at most.

Arguments

wrtc.setList(list, data)

  • list - string containing type of data to store
  • data - JSON structure containing the data to store

Storable lists

The list argument supplied determines the type of data to store.

Currently there are no valid storable list types. All wrtc.setList() calls result in error, see Events below.

Returns

Nothing.

Events

Failed wrtc.setList() calls result in wrtc.onList() events. Reported error codes might be:

  • 404: Not Found - unknown list type
  • 405: Not Allowed - read-only list type (used by wrtc.getList() only)
