adv.mutePartner()
call.adv.mutePartner() can be used to request other end of call to mute or unmute its mic or cam.
Remote muting of mic/cam is carried out automatically by wrtc_kit. For security reasons however it never unmutes mic or cam - such behavior must be implemented explicitly by client code. See wrtc.onGotMuted()
Arguments
call.adv.mutePartner(mic, cam)
- mic - boolean: true to mute remote partner's microphone.
- cam - (optional) boolean: true to turn off remote partner's camera.
To only turn off camera without affecting remote microphone use call.adv.mutePartner(undefined, true);
Returns
Nothing.
After other end has muted or unmuted it's mic or cam a wrtc.onGotMuted() event will occur.
