wrtc.adv.autoGroup is a boolean property controlling if calls during a group call setup should be made automatically or not.
When becoming part of a group call you are asked to call, and are getting calls from other members of the group while setting up the call mesh between group participants. Usually you want to establish those connections automatically without user interventions. But in some applications you might want to have more control on whom you want to connect to. Then you can manually control group connections by setting wrtc.adv.autoGroup true or false in wrtc.onIncomingGroupCall() and wrtc.onJoinGroup()
Boolean controlling calls during group call setup:
The value of wrtc.adv.autoGroup only affects calls during setup of group call.
true
You usually leave wrtc.adv.autoGroup=true for normal group call behaviour: connections between group call participants are set up automatically.
But if you want to implement eg blacklists there you do not want to speak to some users, not even in group calls, you can use wrtc.adv.autoGroup the following way:
In wrtc.onIncomingGroupCall() and wrtc.onJoinGroup() you examine the name of the person wrtc_kit want to set up group call with and if that name is on your blacklist you set wrtc.adv.autoGroup= false to block group call with that person. If you allow connection set wrtc.adv.autoGroup=true.
