====== adv.stopLocalStream() ====== wrtc.adv.stopLocalStream() is used to terminate primary access to unit's camera and microphone. Usually a local media stream is connected to unit's camera and microphone as soon as wrtc object is [[ixnx:wrtc:js:api:wrtc:init|initialised]]. Sometimes however you might want to turn that media stream off, eg to avoid camera LED being constantly lit even if you are making no calls. wrtc.adv.stopLocalStream() will turn off camera access. It can later be regained again by calling [[ixnx:wrtc:js:api:wrtc:changemedia|wrtc.changeMedia()]]. ===== Arguments ===== mic_too - (optional): * true: stop [[ixnx:wrtc:js:api:wrtc:adv.getmic|separate access]] to microphone too ===== Returns ===== Nothing. ===== See Also ===== [[ixnx:wrtc:js:api:wrtc:changemedia|wrtc.changeMedia()]] [[ixnx:wrtc:js:api:wrtc:get|wrtc.get("localStream")]]
