call.putOnHold() puts a call on hold, maintains connection but does not send any media. The call is still in progress but neither of you see or hear each other.

To retrieve a call put on hold call [[ixnx:wrtc:js:api:call:retrievefromhold|call.retrieveFromHold()]]
